TransitPacket

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026

TransitPacket ("we," "us," "this site") provides free networking and cybersecurity lookup tools. This page explains what information is collected when you use the site, and how it's handled.

What this site does

  • Homepage IP display: when you load the homepage, we read your public IP address from standard request headers (the same information any website receives) and display it back to you. This happens in real time and is not stored in any database.
  • Lookup tools: DNS Lookup, WHOIS Lookup, SSL Checker, HTTP Headers Checker, Reverse DNS Lookup, IP Lookup, and ASN Lookup each perform a live lookup — against public DNS servers, RDAP registries, TLS certificate data, or the target site's own HTTP response — based on the domain or IP address you submit. Results are returned directly to your browser and are not stored server-side beyond what's needed to generate the response.

What we don't do

We don't require an account, don't ask for personal information to use any tool, and don't maintain a database of past lookups or visitor IP addresses tied to your identity.

Infrastructure providers

This site is hosted on Vercel and uses Cloudflare for content delivery, DNS, and security (including bot and abuse protection). Both providers may process your IP address and standard technical request data (such as access logs) as part of operating their own infrastructure, independent of anything TransitPacket's own code does. See Vercel's Privacy Policy and Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details on their own data handling.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

TransitPacket intends to use Google AdSense to display advertising in the future. Once active, Google and its partners may use cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) to serve ads based on your visits to this site and other sites on the internet. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings or aboutads.info. This section will be updated with full details once AdSense is active on the site.

Cookies

This site does not currently set its own tracking or analytics cookies. If that changes — including once advertising is active — this policy will be updated accordingly.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, you may have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, or request deletion of personal data. If you are a California resident, you may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Since this site does not maintain accounts or a database of personal data tied to individual visitors, most such requests would concern data held by our infrastructure providers (Vercel, Cloudflare) or, once active, Google AdSense. Contact us and we'll help direct your request appropriately.
